The business
What Drone Space is.
Drone Space is a Dublin-based drone consultancy working across Ireland and Europe. It has been operating commercially since 2015, when its founder held one of the first licences the Irish Aviation Authority issued.
The emphasis has shifted decisively over that time — from flying, to advising and training. That is where Irish organisations actually need help. The aircraft got easier to fly; the regulatory environment around it got considerably harder to navigate.
We do three things: consulting, training and complex UAV operations. We do not sell aircraft, software or reseller packages, which means our advice is not shaped by what we would advise you to acquire.
How we work
Not a sole operator.
Drone Space delivers through a network of contracted specialists and partner companies. This is deliberate. It enables us to stay competitive, provide cutting edge technologies, deliver on time and on budget.
Clients
Why we name none of them.
Drone Space has supported national public bodies, local authorities, State agencies and private clients across Ireland and Europe. You will not find a logo wall on this site.
A lot of our work is sensitive by its nature, and naming clients would be a breach of trust.
We recognise this costs us something commercially. Every serious competitor in Ireland publishes a client list. We would rather be different.
